Who I am

I taught myself to knit when I was thirteen years old and I have been knitting nonstop ever since. When I knit I usually just try something and hope it works out–sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn’t. Really I just care about the process. My brother always suggests that I just buy a knitted object, it does after all take less effort and money–but like I said, it is about the process.

I knit to stay sane, at least that is the simplest way to put it. I am currently working on a Master’s degree in sociology. Marx, Durkheim, and Weber can push my brain a bit too far at times and the statistics can make me woozy. When I knit I am quite literally knitting my mind back into order. This blog will help me share that story.
